The Woodhavens was a project conceived in 2015 from an idea to bring sounds of the vintage Instro+Surf era set to modern day
methods using a DIY punk ethic.
After writing and composing a few tracks on the Evanstones' '1961', I still wanted to bring unfinished songs I've been tinkering with over the years to life. With a little help from friends, my barkada, The Woodhavens are back.

I just received my vinyl copy of 1961 in the post today and it's spinning on the platter as I type. Oh the twang. I absolutely love this album. And the fact that I can listen to it on vinyl makes it even better!
